Nicholas Kanter is a Los Angeles business litigation attorney. His practice focuses on business, franchise, intellectual property and real estate matters.

In civil matters, Mr. Kanter litigates and defends lawsuits to resolution, whether through a judgment or settlement, in federal and state court. He counsels clients on how to avoid disputes before they arise. 

Aside from litigation in state and federal court, Mr. Kanter represents Firm clients in connection with all aspects of intellectual property matters, including prosecuting trademark applications, responding to Office Actions raised by the U.S. Trademark Office and prosecuting and defending cancellation and opposition actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Kanter has also been successful in assisting real estate investors obtain possession to properties purchased at trustee sales. He successfully represents:

Earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis in 2002, Mr. Kanter graduated with honors. He joined our Firm after receiving his law degree in 2005 from Pepperdine University School of Law, where the Los Angeles attorney graduated Cum Laude. While at Pepperdine University, Mr. Kanter was a member of the Moot Court Board and was on the Dean's List for 2003, 2004 and 2005.
