Ms. Robins treats each client with the respect, compassion and the personalized attention required by each, unique case. Although the California family law attorney advocates for our clients in Court when required, Ms. Robins also achieves success in helping divorcing couples settle their cases without the need to go to Court. As a result of Ms. Robins’ efforts, hundreds of parties have been able to resolve their conflicts without the necessity of becoming involved in lengthy and expensive family law litigation, primarily through using Alternative Dispute Resolution, or ADR methods, such as mediation. Ms. Robins also employs her skills as a successful mediator to help her community, and has been recognized by the Courts for her volunteer service in family law mediation in the San Fernando Valley and throughout Los Angeles County. Also in recognition of her work as a Los Angeles divorce attorney and family law mediator, Ms. Robins has been listed for six consecutive years as a Southern California Super Lawyer -- a designation determined by a 12 point peer recognition and professional achievement ratings system, and independent research -- as well as one of 2011's Top Women Attorneys in Southern California, both nominations by Los Angeles Magazine. Ms. Robins is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association where she serves as Program Chair of the Family Law Section. She was previously appointed and served as Co-Chair and Programs Coordinator of the Family Law Section of the SFVBA. Ms. Robins is also currently serving on the Editorial Committee for Valley Lawyer Magazine, a publication of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. Ms. Robins joined Lewitt Hackman after receiving her law degree in 1989 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was technical editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly.
